Customer placed an order with me today. Ran the check and noticed he was listed. Called and asked what he was going to use it for. Said that he was going to use it for a gaming server. I told him great but wanted to let him know that the mail ports would be blocked. He said that was fine.
About an hour later i get a call checking on the status of his order. The number he called from was a different number than set up. Also under a different name as well as in a different state than what was on the order. When i asked him he said it was his partner phone. Things were not adding up so i closed the order.

He started with one vps and 5 ips , for one month he was ok, after get a new vps and started to spam from them. Low level spam , but spam. I get him a few tikets with the abuse which he never answers to tickets.
after a few complains on the ips we have decided to kill his service.

Submitted a ticket for us to look into it, was asked to provide photo ID and a utility bill - those arrived instantly! Once we had agreed to accept the order the use of the English language changed quite dramatically which prompted a more thorough search.

Flagged by MaxMind, says he is from Illinois but his IP address is showing California. After he failed the first fraud check, he placed another order and failed again, he then emailed us to see if he can order that way. His requests were shady from earlier attempts. He could not provide photo id upon our request. Blocked this client from the system. I would definitely avoid this client.

Ordered for a VPS with 8 IP addresses(One of our plans). Maxmind flagged it, however only based on telephone number being in a different state to the billing address. Order was allowed based on possibility to obtain number anywhere you like for example skype numbers. Two weeks later, outgoing spam was detected by us and our upstream IP provider. Suspended VPS based on violation of our terms of service which required a checkbox to be checked during order process.

This customer asked for 8 IP Addresses on an unmanaged Linux server with no control panel. Gut instinct told us to investigate further. Worked with the Datacentre to offer client a solution of 1 IP Address and increase later, however they were adamant that they had to have no less than 8. For admin of website and prevent against DDOS attacks. We did not offer him any service and advise anyone to be wary.
Their website also offers EMAIL MARKETING.
