Submitting a Report
You can submit a report about a client who has committed fraud, abuse, or other misbehaviors on the "Create Report" page.
Key and Data Pairs
Each report consists of key and data pairs. The key is the identifier for the piece of data, and the data is the value associated with that key. For example, if you want to report a client's email address, the key would be "email" and the data would be the actual email address.
You can add multiple key and data pairs to a report. This allows you to provide comprehensive information about the client.
All data is encrypted with a one-way hashing algorithm before being stored in the database, according to the security method we implement. We never store the raw values of the data.
Also please read more about how FraudRecord works to understand how the data is stored and used.
Report Type and Severity
When submitting a report, you can select the type of report and its severity. The type of report indicates the nature of the misbehavior, such as fraud, abuse, or other issues. The severity indicates how serious the issue is, which can help other service providers understand the context of the report.
Choosing the appropriate type and severity is left to your discretion.
Report Description
You must also provide a description of the report. This description should include details about the misbehavior, such as the circumstances, actions taken, and any other relevant information that can help other service providers understand the situation.
Never include any personal data in the description, as it is not encrypted and will be visible to other service providers. The description is meant to provide context and should not contain sensitive information.
Report Anonymization
If you have a premium plan that allows report anonymization, you can choose to anonymize your reports. This means that your company name and email address will not be visible to other service providers and clients when they view the report.
